New Rank Advancement Requiremnets have been added on the Resources Page.
Troop 1257 qualified as a Journey To Excellence Gold Unit Award for the 2015 program year which is awarded in 2016 during the Troop's recharter with BSA. This is BSA's highest level of performance recognition. The state of our Troop is outstanding, and the 2016 program year is another banner year for us!
Troop 1257 follows the Fairfax County Public Schools in determining the cancellation of a weekly Troop meeting. If the FCPS are closed, or close early, or cancel evening activites, then the Troop meeting is cancelled. Cancellation of a weekend activity will be determined by the Scoutmaster in charge of that activity.
