Troop 1257 has once again qualified as a Journey To Excellence Gold Unit Award for the 2013 program year which is awarded in 2014. This is BSA's highest level of performance recognition. The state of our Troop is outstanding, and the 2014 program year is shaping up to be another banner year for us!
Troop 1257 follows the Fairfax County Public Schools in determining the cancellation of a weekly Troop meeting. If the FCPS are closed, or close early, or cancel evening activites, then the Troop meeting is cancelled. Cancellation of a weekend activity will be determined by the Scoutmaster in charge of that activity.
